We want to remain as objective and transparent as possible so that you can feel confident relying on us for credible information. So, we steer clear of corporate sponsorships, and instead rely on people and nonprofits like you to support the continuation of this work. We’ve also made a conscious decision to not overindulge in AI support. We don’t use it to draft text and always indicate when we do incorporate it for smaller things like image generation or double checking grammar (after we’ve used our human brains to review things). It’s worth noting that an increasing amount of software has embedded AI features (we call this “sneaky AI”), so we do our best to note the programs that we use for researching or publishing that incorporate AI.
